Aerostat Operator

• Able to lift/pull 50lbs. on a continual basis
• US citizenship and valid passport 
• Eligible for a Secret DoD clearance 
• Highly desired background: Associate degree or higher with emphasis in computer technology systems and networks, engineering 
• Computer networking skills

Preferred skills and experience:

• Lighter-than-air (LTA), especially programs such as PTDS or RAID UAV
• UAS systems
• Fiber optic troubleshooting and repair
• Electronic troubleshooting and repair
• Computers and networking
• Sensor operation
• ISR

Duties

• The candidate will be required to successfully complete basic, intermediate, and advanced training in Yuma, AZ
• Lodging and hourly pay rate will be provided
• The candidate will also be required to deploy to Afghanistan, Iraq, or other deployed location in support of military operations
• Hours for the position while deployed are 10 to 12 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Transportation to and from training and to and from Afghanistan, Iraq, or required deployment location is provided
• The candidate must be willing to deploy to Afghanistan for a minimum of 12 months (annual leave authorized after completing first 180 consecutive days in theatre)
