Aeronautical Engineer


Education: Bachelors or post graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering degree discipline from a school where the specified curriculum was accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).

Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance. Current possession of Secret clearance preferred.

US citizenship required.


Aeronautical engineer will design, develop, manufacture, maintain and modify military and civil aircraft, aeronautical components and associated systems. Assess design requirements, perform theoretical and practical research. Produce and implement designs and test procedures. Perform evaluations for improving the performance of the aircraft, components, and systems. Assembling and fitting components on the aircraft.  Analyze and interpret data, produce reports, test procedures, and documentation for designs. Analytical thinking and problem solving, communication (both written and oral).
