UAV Technician


Education: Associates degree. And two years of experience. Three or more years of experience may be substituted in lieu of formal education or Certified Aircraft and Power plant schooling or prior military experience as an aviation mechanic or electronics technician may be substituted for formal education.

Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance, possession of Secret clearance preferred.

Must be able to meet minimal standards of fitness for CRC.

Experience operating in OCONUS environment.


Valid US Passport for at least three years.

US citizenship required.

The USAT is responsible for maintaining the airworthiness of the UAS by performing any necessary or scheduled maintenance. Specific duties include completing AV/ GCS maintenance log book as required, performing all logistical tasking, performing AV flight preparation, performing AV post flight, and reporting any discrepancies that may require corrective action. Duties may include assisting the AVO/P during pre-flights and post-flights and during start-up and taxi operations.
